Carara National Park Tour will take you into a unique ecosystem where you may see species of both, the dry tropical forest and the humid rainforest. And in the Tarcoles River, you will enjoy the peacefulness of mangroves, the graceful beauty of herons, egrets, and other aquatic birds and the might of the American Crocodiles that live in the brackish waters of the river.
At Carara, the hiking is easily done as it has universal access, and a lot of the walk goes on a very even paved trail. And the boats are very comfortable for all people.
In this combined tour, you may see:
Two and three-toed sloths, Agouti Paca, Armadillo, Collared Peccaries, White-tailed Deer, Poison-arrow Frogs, and howler and capuchin monkeys. And of course the American Crocodiles, Green Iguanas, and Pacific Coast Basilisisks
The birdwatching is quite remarkable; you may watch the fantastic scarlet macaws, the Collared and the Fiery-billed Aracari, Great Tinamou, Chestnut-backed Antbird, Black-hooded Antshrike, Turkey vulture, Long-billed Gnatwren, Keel-billed Toucan, and by the water, the gorgeous Anhinga, Tiger-herons, Jacanas, Pied-billed Grebes, and Boat-billed Herons.
