Carara National Park Tour will take you into a unique ecosystem where you may see species of both, the dry tropical forest and the humid rainforest.

The hiking is easily done as it has universal access, and a lot of the walk can be made in a very even paved trail. You may be able to see

Two and three-toed sloths, Agouti Paca, Armadillo, Collared Peccaries, White-tailed Deer, Poison-arrow Frogs, and howler and capuchin monkeys.

The birdwatching is quite remarkable; you may watch the fantastic scarlet macaws, the Collared and the Fiery-billed Aracari, Great Tinamou, Chestnut-backed Antbird, Black-hooded Antshrike, Turkey vulture, Long-billed Gnatwren, Keel-billed Toucan, and by the water, the gorgeous Anhinga, Tiger-herons,  Jacanas, Pied-billed Grebes, and Boat-billed Herons.

8:00 a.m.  –  Arrival at the Carara National Park, bathrooms and initial explanations

8:15 a.m.  –  Start of nature and birdwatching tour

11:00 a.m. –  Exit of the trail, bathrooms and depart National Park.

11:15 a.m. –  Tarcoles River crocodiles bridge

11:45 a.m. –  Drive to the restaurant for a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch

12:00 n     –   Lunch

2:30 p.m.  –    Arrival to Quepos
